he guys as u all know i live in blackpool and we have a meet every year for all modified cars , normally its on the last week of the iilluminations , we get a police escort through then make our way to yeadon way car park, i will get more info then let you know

put me down for a maybe on the 25th, some of the girls at work are going on a day/night out in blackpool on the 25th, but I am on a late and don't finish till 8pm, if a couple of the girls from work want a lift to blackpool I can drop them off them join the meet with you

Come on people, there must be more be more interested in coming along here than the four of us - myself, Adam, Lee and Kev - that have our names down at the minute. This will be a great weekend meet-up and I'm sure that everyone who goes will have a fun time. It's not that often that we have meets this far north, so it's a chance for all you northern members to come along to a meet. And also for some from the south to see that it's that it's not all grim up north really!! Also, it doesn't matter if anyone wants to come for the whole weekend or just for the Sunday, everyone is welcome.

At the end of the day it's the members meet, not mine, so it's entirely up to everyone as to what they wish to do whilst we're in Blackpool. We'll definitely be having a photoshoot both days (hopefully my camera which is clinging to life at the minute will survive another weekend!), and are thinking of going down to the Pleasure Beach on the Saturday, but other than that it's entirely up to whatever people decide that they wish to do.

Suggestions include:

• Walking down the beach, promenades, piers etc
  
• Seeing the tower
  
• Going on the trams
  
• Sandcastle Waterpark
• Louis Toussards Waxworks

It's entirely up to whatever everyone wishes to do though. If anyone has any further suggestions of things they want to do then feel free to shout up.

I hope to see a few more of you maybe turn-up next weekend, if anyone else is coming then please just say.

C'mon guys and galls!!

We know that there are a lot of you from the North, and as for those from the Midlands, Blackpool is only 2 hours up the Motorway, so why not tag on with me. (PM me)

I personally will now be going on the Saturday with a view to attend on the Sunday also for the 'drive down the promenade'.

This drive is a once-a-year jobby that loads of car enthusiast clubs make, thats why Fast Ford Magazine photographers etc will be there.

I bet a lot of you are thinking, Blackpool, arcades, nightclubs, drinking, money. Well, i'm an oldie who won't be spending a fortune, but just attending with my camera to take some pics of your cars at an event and post them up on this site is what it's all about.

I can only make it late in the day on Sunday due to work ..... what time do you all think you will be ther till?

I was thinking of hanging on to joint the guys from STOC that are doing the Colin Mcrae Charity Cruise @6pm which I think might be the same thing Kev means?

Blackpool tomorrow, see you all at some point tomorrow hopefully and we can go from there with what to do (other than the obvious!).
