I think you right mc67st, I dont think real ST drivers or anyone their associated with is out stealing part or accepting parts known to be from other ST drivers. This is being done by chavs driving lesser models trying to has a more sporty look to their 1.2 at the expense of us 2.0l drivers.

I really hope wot goes around, comes around. And for anyone affected by scum like this hope their is a bit of luck around the corner.

i know of someone that caught a kid while he was trying to get the wheel nut cover off, didnt get it off but was bent, really clear to see as well.
worst ive heard was my dads company he works for is a shoufouring company, he gets to drive a s500 AMG!!. well 1 of his work mates went in to get a newspaper and some fags 1 day in london, came out he swears no more than 5 mins later, his front left wheel had gone, just that.

sometimes I wonder if we give too much info out on here (or other forums), for example where there are meets and where we all live "was that you" and "meet ups" are just saying out loud that there are lots of ST's in that area.

I was gonna say that, the infomation we share with all the other genuine members on the ST websites can easily be used against us and mite be our downfall. We all share a love of our cars and are proud to drive them and be associated with them. But at wot point do we have to stop sharing our information because of the scum out there. I believe before now that someone of us is gonna wake up to find its not just our spoiler or bumpber (or both gone) but there whole engine!! Sounds stupid but, never say never.

Really sorry to hear about all this. I think the way the insurance system works actually makes it worse; even though your a victim, you're still gonna end up paying one way or another.

very hard to keep things private on forums, I would offer that some of the topics should be kept off the public viewing, only other way is registration by invite/recommend/approval.
