just out of interest when my air conditioning is on the engine bay sounds like a turbo like its whistling is this common????

yesterday I had to add some oil and I searched around in my city and evrywhere they said that 5w/30 oils are only synthetic no semisynth oil with this gradation... so I bought the castrol edge 5w/30... does anyone know if this oil is good
