Hi all, i'm toying with idea of trading in my ST for a new shape mini cooper S, i really like my ST but since i bought my wife a new mini one and looked at the quality i'm almost hooked........the real down side of all this is that the mini dealer only offered me £6750 for 07 with 13400 mls on the clock considering i paid £9500 for it only back in February,it seems a low price to me and i therefore would welcome any opinions and thoughts to this subject.thanks

Get a pumaspeed power upgrade if power is an issue other than that no contest for me

been in my mates, great fast car but harsh ride, no room in rear, you'll get fed up with the noisy supercharger (new ones have turbo I think ?), very expensive to buy new.

don't forget the boom from the exhaust.

was like my magnex on the old ST. there heavy things aswell which is one of many reason i didnt buy one.

My brother on the otherhand has one as a company car, he hates it. i like taking it out for a good thrash but it dont compare to my mountune powered ST.

can understand the attraction of the cooper s but if you're going to lost all that cash in such a short period of time, I wouldn't bother at the moment. Wait for the market to stabalise a bit unless the cooper s is being sold very cheaply!!
