im trying to find a half decent hotel for the sat night, to save driving up really early in the am on sunday... but as i dont know WHICH part (cough cough) of the cottswolds i want to be in... lol

Nicky told me that they would try to have it reasonably close to Gloucester if at all poss. so I wouldn't have too much further to travel, but it would be nice if a final decision was made soon (hint, hint).

Theres this holidayinn on the outskirts of Gloucester in Barnwood Chris about five minutes from my house, its about ten minutes tops from the centre of Cheltenham but u can drive to the Cotswolds easier from here because you avoid any town centres.

Its right next to a large really strange roundabout they call a 'corkscrew' roundabout, supposed to be the only one in the UK, you literally stay in one lane all the way round and it takes you to your exit. Some people don't get it though!
