I've just recently put new p zero's on. I don't think many people rate them but I havn't had much trouble with them. When worn it was harder to pull off cleanly on damp or rough surfaces but that would be the case for most tyres. Probably not the best in the wet but you could just relax your right foot a little

Tyre technology has come a long way, whichever tyre you pick will give enough grip for 'normal' driving. But who buys an to pootle about 24/7??

I'm scared of my ZZ3s now...... Now that the roads are damp and greesy and my fronts have ~10k of wear they're not much use at pulling away from a standing start and roundabouts are interesting to say the least.

Things is that I'm not even close to the wear indicator but must admit that I haven't checked the pressures recently....

I think they're just a load of crud on the roads!

This is why I changed all four of mine to Uniroyal Rainsport 2's - the Avons I found a bit slippey at times going round normal bends in the wet at just 30mph. (ok they were worn and needed replacing but still opted for a change)

These Uniroyal sports I got have some meaty treads. Paid £70 each for them at tyreshopper.

I honestly do not know, I personally just read pages of reviews on tyres on various websites. Mostly picking out ST owner reviews, and found the Goodyear F1 and the Rainsport 2's to be on par with each other in rating. The F1's were over £100 but the Rainsports were roughly £70 with fitting.
