quick enough for most and great value for money and it looks great! All you other ST owners please give me your opinions and stories!
I agree with that,,, great car for those that don’t want to tune it and plenty of scope for those that do.
mine is totally standard and I was genuinely surprised at just how capable it was at a recent trackday that I did,,, just goes to show its best to take some of the rubbish written with a piece of salt.
dam fine car enjoy.

Its not a car that has "push you into your seat" acceleration and to be honest, it doesn't feel fast, but once it is on the boil and driven smoothly its good enough for a 10.5k car with group 13 insurance.

Well here's one for you.... The other day I was keeping up with a BMW 320 which has the same power as the ST (150bhp), infact I eventually overtook him catching an Audi TT. I was a bit silly as I decided to go right up it's backside hoping it'd pull away. I noticed it was the 180bhp version and my ST kept up with it (until I reached the speed limit, may I add)! The ST is very quick 0-60mph (7.9 secs) and has the edge on a lot of cars out there. I love it. Glad you're enjoying it.

As much as I love my ST I wouldn't describe it is "very quick". It is reasonably quick for a fiesta but there are lots of other cars out there that will keep up in a straight line. Where it shines is on the B-roads where it is just such a joy to drives and seemingly comes alive.
Honestly, I think the car is lifeless in a straight line.... it makes progress but does so with no passion

I agree, do you have any mods ? I say this because my car was standard and now its mountuned it is a different car entirely, you would not say mine is lifeless and in a straight line with either 2nd or 3rd engaged full on you would just be "smiling ear to ear". The ST just needs that slight bit more power and breathing freeing up whether you go mountune or seperates route, it makes such a difference.
