what is the most common problem under EAC, i relise it could be a number of problems but while accelerating in 1st 2nd third and forth gear the lights cut out and produce this warning.
i struggle with accelerating full stop,there is a major lack of power.
the maximum revs with out it realy having a tantrum with me is 2000
please advise and suggestion no matter how small may help me.

Sorry to hear about your problem. My Fiesta developed a problem where there was no power when you pressed the accelerator, power would then shoot back and then go again. After a bit of investigation it turned out to be a faulty hugo sensor which i believe lives in or near the exhaust. Couple of friends with Fiesta's had the same problem not sure whether this is the same with yours

It could also be the alternator I'm afraid.
When the car is cold just make sure all the connections are OK
