Over 100 miles from where i live, Not sure on wether to attend.

Im quite shy, not sure how id get on tbh. Nearly crashed into the back of a work collegue today and got alittle shook up, one of those low speed, looking out of window, of bleep slam on breaks moments.

I really woulnd't worry about being shy. You will be made more than welcome.

The first meet most people say is the scariest but we have all been there. My first meet was the summer event in 2006. I had my reservations as i was very very shy but thought sod it and went. I had such a great time i stayed on an extra few days and i'm still on this site now!!

As for your accident the best thing to do is keep going. It happens and quiet a few people on here have done similar. I almost left fitp backwards last year as i wasn't paying attention.

In the convoy we go at a steady pace and don't go stupidly fast. ( no one can see you if you are going 100+ )

The end of the day it is your choice if you want to come along and no one will force you to come. Everyone that has been on a meet will tell you how good they are even if it's peeing down with rain.

Just to echo what Micky said, it your choice obviously as to whether to come along or not, but you will be made very welcome if you do decide to. I was also pretty nervous about driving a long way to meet people I'd only ever spoken to on here for a short time when I went to the sites first meet back in 2005, but very quickly once I was there I was glad that I had gone down.

If you go then I'm sure you'll be glad that you did as we all have a great time.
