Lol @ Chris locking his keys in his car before FITP... that was funny

My is nearly all ready... it's had 4 brand new top end tyres put on and it's going to be filled up with fuel tomorrow and then it will be staying put until the big day and getting pampered with washing and polishing aswell as vaccing, inside polish and gold class meguires leather care I've got a couple of weeks to get it exactly how I want it

Hows everyone else coming along?

Looking forward to seeing the escort. Hope he has got the running gear sorted aswell. I know what these big power cossies are like with diffs etc lol.

Might try and get side stripes sorted in time but not sure if it's doable

I think thats just the tip of the mods on the cossie tbh but they were the only ones I could remember from the top of my head

Sounds like a lot of cash has been spent on the cossie... I do love the highly tuned cossies but the standard ones are becoming so rare that I prefer them, even though they are obviously not as quick.

I could pump mine up to 250bhp with a chip and then upto 300 with a new intercooler and bigger turbo and then keep on going but I want to keep it as a standard example as its part of my on going collection.

I can't wait for the day... it's going to be incredible

Well I'm just going outside now to do some polishing
Won't damage the side stripes will it?

Getting there slowly but surely! Just received my stock of Meguiars so will get very busy this weekend. Just waiting for my new alloys to arrive for FITP and keep my old ones for winter.

Not bad an hour to do the boot and bumper with polish and wax
Got a $%^&* of a scratch on the boot
Going round cleaning all the tiny bits I wouldn't normally do so it should be nice and shiny

well so far i have done pretty much nothing but my nice new cleaning products and show plates turned up today, so will be starting on the interior this weekend, then next weekend will be a good going over on the outside before i give it the pre show clean on the saturday.

only thing i really wanted to do but couldnt afford was to have my alloys refurbed (lepsons i here is good and there only 10 mins away) as the previous owner seems to have liked the kerbs!

It sounds like your all getting on pretty well...

The worst part about getting them all clean and shiney for the shows is that you end up finding swirls, scratches, dents and chips that you never knew about or anyone would actually notice at the show but it bothers you a lot I know as i'm the same

I've changed my avatar just for you

I have indeed started cleaning the It was fully clayed, paint cleaned, polished and waxed with Meguires Gold Class a month ago but I shall be giving it another going at on the weekend along with a leather clean and all the alloys off for a full on scrubbing up. I cleaned the engine bay last weekend.

I have since drove it as I had 4 new tyres put on (thank god) as they were all different tyres, 1 good one and 3 budget... also they were different tread patterns Just goes to show what women know about owning such a car. I must quote that 2 women owned it previous to me

I'll be working hard on getting it all nice... I wish I had an electric polisher to get rid of the swirl marks though >.<
