If you let me know by early next week then that will be fine. There'll be a few peeps driving up the A1 the same as you anyways, so I can easy arrange for somewhere for you to meet up with everyone else coming that way.

I'm driving up on the Friday and got somewhere booked to stop until Monday. I think a few others have also.

I'm definitely going on the Sat/Sun.

I had originally planned on coming up on the Friday, but have since arranged to tour some of the Western Scottish roads (Glen Coe, Loch Ness) before coming back to Edinburgh on the Saturday. (Anyone welcome btw, though I don't want to 'pluck' anyone from the meet on the Friday ).

Edinburgh definitely seems like a great location. Wouldn't mind a photo of my with the Forth Rail Bridge in the background

I have certainly. I'll be honest, I was struggling a little bit to find somewhere to stay, as most the hotels are pretty expensive with it being a popular place and also at Easter, to the point where I honestly didn't think I'd be coming, as even places like a Travelodge were going to cost the best part of £200 for three nights. Fortunately after another good look this weekend I've managed to find a room for the Easter weekend at just over £30 a night, which is much more reasonable!
