Was wondering what the piece of plastic onm the slam panel (as you look at it from the front. Its on the right top side) is for lol. Just upgraded my headlight bulbs last night and found this random bit of plastic!!!! Am sure it isn't random! lol... Wheres my hacksaw!?

Are you sure it's not the bonnet catch release? It's a flat arrow shaped bit of plastic. Pull when lifting the bonnet and it disappears when you fully close the bonnet.

hehe na.. its about 4 inchs square and is kinda like a flap if ya get me ... sorry!! not sure how to explain lol

its connected to the original air intake correct? just the basic bog standard ford air feed from the bonnet

Coool thanks!!! was worried because i made a booboo and trashed my car. After searching the net for most of the parts. I was worried the slam panel (sharing the same model as the puma) had a little bit extra lol

Yep the bog standard intake cover. Mine will be going when the warranty expires.

lol yep sure does. i think if i can get it to around 175 180 bhp mark with a good 200nm of torque clios and other hot hatches will be shocked when i keep up if not dust em:P just like my mate in his 225 bhp megane sport the other nite

Thanks muchly fellas!!! Just finished boching my passenger side window switch. Friggin thing stopped returning lol think i kinda got it working now... (he says). After snapping a few plastic rivets in the process.. Well at least the bird wont be moaning anymore... so right old result then!

They're an ideal mod for the TDCi as they get colder air into the filter

thats plastic is just cover air intake , to not have direct intake (because dirt etc)

It directs the air through the hole in the slam panel up to the dirty air ducting.

The TDCi just sucks engine bay air from behing the headlamp so this part improves air flow.
