anybody know if a focus st engine will fit in a fiesta st? the 2.5 turbo ersion. what kind of changes would need to be done

Bigger engine bay to start. Only place i could see it fitting is where the back seats are, Which will mean making a space frame rear chassis to start.

Tiny list of things to start,
Engine
Loom
custom engine mounts
gearbox
drive shafts
all ancillarys eg alternator starter motor.



I'm sure there would be some way of doing it but will cost a fortune.

why bother? The fast STs are supercharged and turbod. I am sure there's a reason people opt for these routes!

thought it might of been easier to just put the focus engine in for a grand rather then 4k super charger never mind though eh lol

Don't know about the Focus , but i read an article in Fast Ford mag a couple of months ago about some guy who had dropped a Focus engine in his KA, , apparently he was anoyed when he took it out on track and couldn't keep the traction down.

lol to be expected tho realy, think ill just put exhasut system on when i have funds, will get me over 165 probs nearer 170 bhp

yeah it's a nice idea, but as it possibly hasn't been done, it would cost bucks!!

TBH azz, you will be lucky to hit that kind of power gain by just adding an exhaust system on top of your Flexi and 57i.

I had the Induction, Flexi, Powerflow Sports Cat with Powerflow Catback, Denso Iridium plugs, Magnecore 6mm leads on my last and when i had it on the rollers it pushed out 166bhp.

To get it up to the 170+ you will need all of these mods and then re-map it with Dream Science, which is'nt cheap.

pink rise had 171 bh[ with induciton and full exhaust, i notice you didnt say manifold on that, is it correct that you didnt have an aftermarket manifold?
