i have just bought my from benfield ford and im sure the stripes are allot thinner than normal, and the gap between them looks really wide. any thoughts? also look at the mistake on under the grill. i think they have done a really crap job.

Compare the gap on the roof with the gap on the spoiler sections, if they're the same then you're just fine!

They much too thin, need to be ripped off and redone really,

They are thin and the gap is wide...did you ask for them to be put on? as previous owners may of asked for them to be like this

At the back, both stripes should be as wide as the number plate.

Did you buy the motor from Ford? Take it back if it was as it's just wrong mate!

They arn't even straight!!!

And the front one has a massive bit missing. I did a better job with coloured tape on a citroen ax(it was a laugh)

Were they like that when you bought the car. I'd still try your luck at getting them to sort it!!

You have the right to return as it's unfit for purpose. And if in dought shout from the middle of the showroom that you want to speak to the manager about the crap customer service. Usually does the trick

Just take it back mate and tell them your not happy, show them the fiesta brochure in the showroom as it has a fiesta with ott stripes on it and ask them if yours looks like that.

just got back from the benfield garage and after being there for nearly an hour an half they are going to fit me the proper stripes. they first try to tell me that they can only fit the proper ones as factory fit when you first order the car. then the manager said i could have the proper ones fit for another £75 but once i showed him the crappy job they had done on the stripes he reconsidered. anyway will be happy when the new ones are fitted and im good to go. thanks again for everyones help.

man cant see the final job aaaa lol but I just have to look at mine to see a proper job love the stripes! That reminds me, saw a fiesta the other day with ott stripes, dunno if he was trying to pass it of as an ST but it a purplish colour 5 door and only an 04 plate lol
