I am looking at fitting some AP Racing discs up front and was wondering how Ford would view this with regards to warranty.

It shouldn't have too much effect. Obviously the brakes themeselves wouldn't be covered, but the general rule is that if something goes wrong as a result of a modification then it won't be covered under warranty, anything unrelated to the mods will still be covered.
