hi all, had a new pas pump fitted on thursday as they said i needed a new one and this could be causing the noise, once fitted, i drove it and the noise was gone, untill today! same noise same place , only happens once warmed up and i only noticed it after going down the motorway, then on the way back, so maybe driving at that speed is causing something to happen?? any more ideas please

Mine had a new belt tensioner fitted azz but that was more a tapping sound, but you never know, if something is getting hot through lack of grease or lube it will make a noise, take it back in and tell them its still making a noise mate.

Well they've done the PAS pump now they've got to move onto the next in line.
Idler pulley, Tensioner Pulley, Alternator or A/C Compressor till they fix it.
They did put a new belt on didn't they?
It's their own fault, they should investigate properly before repair, they don't get re-imbursed for repeat repairs.
Take it back

dont know if they put a new belt on. but its didnt squeek yesterday or this morning, it realy is intermittant and so annoying lol, will probs ring them today tell em ive heard the noise again and take it back in on tuesdayor something
