Disconnect you battery negative terminal, Press the brake pedal 5 times to fully discharge the circuits, leave the car alone for 5 minutes.
Unclip the upper steering column shroud from the lower shroud by depressing the tangs both sides of the shroud.
Obtain a thin, flatbladed screwdriver.
Insert the screwdriver at the top edge of the driver's airbag (where it meets the top spokes)
If you pull the top of the airbag away you will see inside that there are some spring clips that you need to pull away from the airbag with your screwdriver.
Remove the airbag and disconnect the electrical connector(s).
To remove the steering wheel just engage the steering lock and undo the bolt.
You can't align the wheel on the column shaft as it's a hexagon shaft not a spline.
When re-fitting the steering wheel, the torque for the bolt is 45nm, you must chek that the threadlock on the bolt is still intact, if not you will need to re-threadlock the bolt.
Hope this helps.

Any injury related to removal of the airbag or steering wheel is at the person's own risk.
If you are at all unsure just put your hand in your pocket and get a garage to do it.
