The police by me had one of these... the lady sitting on it is the officer which lives at the end of my road.

They seriously enjoyed ragging this around... I went down to the station one day when they had an open day in the summer and aswell as getting my finger prints done I got to sit in the Lotus

I've often wondered why, when they are being arrested for all manner of things, they seem so upset by a camera? They seem quite relaxed about being pulled over, searched etc, but as soon as their brain-cell registers a camera they go bonkers!

I saw someone from my work get pulled on one of the Police Camera Action programs a couple of Months ago.

I couldn't believe it when i saw it; I kept saying to the wife, "I know him his name is *****".(He kept it reaaaally quiet at work because it was sooooo funny).

He got breathalised at the roadside and failed the test. He was then arrested and taken for a breathtest at the station....which he 'just' passed.

When the police drove him back to his car the officer was saying how lucky he was for passing by such a small margin at the station; when they got back to his car the officer said..... This is what we all found sooo funny at work...

"Right then, you passed that, so we are going to do you for not wearing a seatbelt at the time we pulled you over."

Dave T ST also knows him, and i'm SURE he will agree that this couldn't of happened to a better person.

Wasnt ginger was he?

Why does this (the person later pulled up by police) never ever happen when I come across idiots on the road. I cant wait for that to happen one day

I know what you mean, I guess it takes most of their brains a while to register anything!

The police are never around when you see idiots on the road, it's just one of those things. I have seen an incident 1 time where a biker overtook myself and about 6 other cars on a blind corner of a country road, national speed limit, anything could have been coming around that corner, he then carried on into the town (which is a 40) at about 65, upahead a police officer stepped into the road and flagged him down

Also my mum told me she was driving down the A46 towards Stratford, she drives a Discovery 4 which are fairly quick and some pillock took ages to overtake her in his old falling apart Escort, when he did get round he kept on accelerating, my mum came across him a few miles up the road pulled over

my favourite ever episode was going around the M25 i was doing the speed limit in the overtaking lane, when some idiot came racing up behind me, i couldnt move back over due to traffic, so kept going and he just kept right up behind me, when i eventually could get over i did so, and they floored it, not noticing the unmarked police car three cars back who we had just overtaken!

it was such a nice feeling to watch the blue lights come on and disappear off after them, i had to smile when i drove past
