Hey All,

As promised the team have been working hard to make sure everything is all sorted and we have a stand place and the convoys are done as best to accommodate as much as possible along the route there.

We all know the convoy is one of the best parts of the meet for many who attend. The spectacle of being all together heading to the park or the long trips to get there for most and seeing loads of other enthusiasts along the way. Always feels great to get loads of waves and flashes on the journey

Anyway... I'll get onto the nitty gritty. I'll try and present this as best as possible but if people are unsure of the times or locations then please, please contact us as soon as possible.

Before I start I would just like to ask everyone who is attending to private message the convoy leader their mobile number so that we have and can let you have ours. This way if there is any problems we can all liaise with each other to sort out any issues quickly and easily.

People coming from a South and Easterly direction please message "Micky" their number and people from the North and West can you message "ChrisCumbria" and "ST_One".

O.K. One more shout for anyone coming from the North, North east or West.

If you are coming down the M1, slip onto the M6 and head towards the NEC, M42, it's not a million miles out.

Once on the M42 head for the NEC, literally one junction, turn left onto the A45 towards Coventry, half a mile on at the island is a large pub/car park on the left; 'The Malt Shovel.'

I can meet anyone there before heading towards the Coleshill stage of the convoy, So PM me if this is the case, and we can sort out times.

Dont think i'll be meeting at point n1 and go straight for n2.
Take about 1hr 45 minutes to get there according to Google maps. Down the M1 to junction 19 then onto A14.

I will be ok to meet at Coleshill, as its only up the road from where I am staying on the Saturday

Will PM the relevant people with my mobile number. I also have two good walkie-talkies that me and my mate use on our drives so can offer a spare if required.

Excitement setting in now...

You will be coming down the M1, if you get off at J23a then you'll be able to come down the M42 until Junction 9 and pull off and join us... this isn't very much of a detour and you'll be able to go the 50miles to meeting point n2 with us all as it's not far between n2 and n3. It's entirely up to yourself though.

I have just checked and if you did this... it would only equate to a 20mile detour in total... It is 37 miles between M1 23a and catthorpe change to the A14 and 57 miles if you go down the M42, meet us and then travel down the M6 to chatthorpe A14 interchange.

Infact we left J9 of the M42 as the other half of our convoy was joining the M1. We were a good 30miles behind and managed to catch them up before they got to the first service station on the North side... we made it though and the guys said as we went past it was an amazing spectical... I wouldn't recommend it again lol.
