I got the 6 cd changer in my 07 plate Fiesta (think its the 6006 model?)

Anyway, at times when i try to eject a cd it just makes a wurring noise like its trying to do it and then after a minute or so just turns back to the radio or plays another cd. Doesnt eject the cd i wanted to.

Doesnt always happen, just every so often and last night i thought it was knackered for good as it sounded like it was trying to do something but almost not grabbing the CD or something. I eventually had to bank on the CD player and it eventually ejected it.

Anyone else experienced this? is it covered by warrenty?

It is covered by warranty but only if it does it with original CDs in NOT CDRs.

If a CDR gets stuck they won't replace as the handbook advises NOT to use them.

A good tip is to not use CDRs with sticky labels on them as they are a bit thicker and can get jammed.

If the issue happens when you're full of originals then it will be covered.

That's the problem.
And if it only happens with CDRs you can't have anything done anyway, they won't touch it

Not unless it does it with original CDs, no

If it's doing it with original cd's then try and take it in whilst it's doing that.
