A couple of people have and supposedly it's not too hard. The main thing though is relocating the cigarette lighter as that then has to be moved to inside the cup holder.

Checked a different site, theyve fitted a "ford sport" button were the boot release switch is. whats the overall opinion though, honda s2000 start button in the cigerette lighter place, or ford power button were the boot button is?

The Ford Power button is the one off the new Fiesta, but I hadn't heard yet of someone fitting one, or of someone fitting any start button there. I think it propably would look better there if it's possible, so hopefully someone will have an answer for you on this.

I think it has to be in position 2, and then it will start with the button pressed, you don't have to actually turn the key.

Apparently you can set them up so you don't use the key. and the key acts as an immobilizer...

Yeh you still need the key in position 2 for the engine to start. numerous ways of wiring this, you can have the button aswell as keystage 3, so you can either use the key to start the engine and the button, or you can just disconnect the 3rd keystage and let the putton power the engine.you can use an extra relay so no key is needed and the engine uses the immobiliser, but i dont really think that thats to safe for theifs!?
ordered the button and surround for it last night, cost me £25 so buy saterday im hoping to have this fitted and ill get piccys up. anyone got an idea of were i can now put my boot button though?!!
