Why do we bother even listening to what they have to say?

Outside right now is VERY heavy rain with thunder and lightening. On the weather forcast on the metoffice for where I live it says full sun. If they can't get it right simply looking out the window then how are they going to get it right for future weather?

The worst part about all this was i'd forgot i left my windows down a bit and the rain has gone all inside over my seats and door panels etc... luckily they are leather with a bit of suede.I was able to catch it just intime and storm outside like a commando to resolve the problem before it got into my electronics. I've had to leave the car running for 10 mins with the blowers on to get rid of the condensation inside.

That is very annoying!!

I have been in Sheffield all weekend, the BBC forecast it would p**s down today North of the M4 corridor, but gave no timing, except likely before this evening really!

Weather forecast is pretty meaningless though as you say, you can't trust it 100% ever!

Actually the forecast here was the total opposite to you Scott. They gave a weather warning of severe rain, with up to two inches expected. In fact, it's been hot, dry and sunny all day. Perhaps they got the forecasts for the midlands and the north west mixed up lol.

Just to add, I agree they can be hopeless at times. They often can't correctly tell us what we've had earlier that day!

Nooo lol. We had enough rain during the winter and spring to keep us going for the year. Mind you that might be why it's always so hot in Cornwall, given how much natural radiation there is there.

Lol, if I remember I'll try and see where's more radioactive when we're there, work or Cornwall.

Scott, why the use of an asterisk when all you were trying to say was "PELTING"?!
