1. Is it worth changing the break discs to some nice, sexy, grooved ones?

2. I've bought the Goodridge stainless steal break hose kit. Is it any good?

3. Instead of just changing the discs, surely its better to change the rear discs from 255mm to 270mm? If you can't afford the £1,500 upgrade

4. I guess it's not worth changing the break discs too soon because my is only 2 years old so I'm sure they wont crack lol. Renaults I hear/saw are worse for cracking...

1 - Yes but drilled and grooved for the fronts but don't overdo it with the pads if you're road use. Standard are more than up to the job.

2 - Fantastic mod, will give much improved pedal feel.

3 - Don't waste you're money just fit standard sized rear discs but GROOVED only no drills, they don't get hot enough. The grooves help keep the pads de-glazed, something these rubbish carryover XR4x4 calipers are renouned for. Standard pad are a deff on the back as they don't get hot enough.

4 - Renault's head gaskets go all the time as well, have you got spares of those? They won't crack
