after having my st for over 2 years i have decided to trade her in, i have been looking at 350z and tt, in the end i traded it in for a tt, i know what your thinking hairdressers car, but this isnt a normal tt, im getting the tt 240 sport, the stripped out, 2 bucket seats, 240bhp, stiffer suspension, light weight and wider wheels, 2 tone paint, and only 170 made. just gota wait 2 weeks, for my plate to be changed. i did also get a good trade in price, 6.6k i fink the white full stripes with black wheels just made the dealer want it as he knew he could sell it quick. insurance tho, st group 13, tt240 group 19, rang my insurance up and because its a 1.8 they are giving me back £88, they must be thick, they got the description rite 240 sport, maybe they dont know it has a turbo lol. have been told with a custom code will be looking at 300bhp.

now for the intresting bit for you guys and girls, as when i traded her in her notice it was lowered and that was it (got a spare set of lowering springs), so hers the list of things that will be for sale and i will put on ebay and for sale on here.

AVO coil overs (only been on for a month lol)
mongoose decat and cat back
bluefin (will need re coded)
k&n 57i fliter
miltek flexi pipe
mk6.5 radio plug and fasca for after market headunit
smoking pot (goes where cup holder is, never been used for ash lol)

I sat in a parked TT that you are talking about, I absolutely hate TT's but LOVE the model you are talking about, it was red on blass and theres a lot of glass on it. Lovely car.

them seats are well nice, not the best for gettin in and out, might have to look at some harnes's strap them on the rear strut brace : )

Ohhh yes yes.. Sabelt 4 point lightweight harnesses with the wider 3" lap straps. Thats what I have with mine Trust me those seats are a doddle to get out of compared with..err.. other bucket seats!

i duno, they dont lean back, and these that bit buy your hip when you sit down, its like you gota pick yourself up to get out lol.

Shhh... you get used to it.. I had to and as my friend put it when he drove the TT Sport he doesnt exactly have a Recaro friendly behind LOL

Since this post I went out yesterday and seen 3 of these TTS's. I'll be honest and say i've never even looked twice at a TT before now, strange to see so many though in one trip... are they that common?

well ive got my audi tt 240 sport, aint guna lie it is well fast, dusted a audi tt 225 the day i got it lol. the bucket seats are well comfee, and i did have worrys it not handling as well as the st, but wiv the different suspension to normal tt's and the 235 wide tyres and 4wd she handles better than the st. love it to bits.
i have seen my 06 white st at the garage i traded it in at, and its up for 9k!good luck i thought. i am guna miss the st, and it did look fat, with the full stripe kit, black mirrors and wheels, lowered 40mm, : ( bit worried they still had my plate E1EEF on it,as thats on my new car, guess there waiting for the log book. will post up some pics of the tt soon, and my old st. watch this space . . .
