Hi all,

Back from my 20 minute test drive, and all i can say is wow! The car put a huge smile on my face. The car really livens up around 4.5k revs through until 6k! The seats are amazingly comfy so happy with that, and the car feels very confident hitting those corners. I stayed in second for this one roundabout, and had the back end twitching which i wasn't expecting, but i did push it hard. It did a great job in keeping firm, which impressed me. I told the sales guy that i go on track fortnightly, so he let me nail it. The fun thing about that car is that nobody knows of it (apart from you guys) and it suprises everyone when you smoke past them (within reason). Next step is to try and negoiate a price, or go through a internet site and get one bought! Fantastic!

It was Red, no options, nor stripes. A basic run-around for the garage.

I will keep you posted, i just want another go in it now! I could deffo get used to driving it full time!

Stand firm they know they can sell ST's but if they know you're gonna buy one for sure from who ever where ever & you have the cash or the illusion (IE balls to play with em)to prove it then they will not let you go elsewhere! my dealer took a loss on his sale just to get "figures" for the end of the Month don't give up!! I got Free side stripes,Free Proper Ford ST floor mats, 1st Annual service Free,Free Mettalic Paint. Total price all in £12500 & I thought that was expensive!!

Hi Tyson, I bought mine from broadspeed.co.uk got it for £11495 including interior pack and metallic paint. Received a great service from them and doubt if i would use a dealer ever again, the car was delivered to my doorstep on a transporter with 11 miles on the clock and actually came from a main Ford dealer as it has their number plates, tax disc holder etc.
If you are buying from a dealer though wait until the end of the month, about now is ideal for getting a deal, so that they can get it signed up before the end of the month and make their figures look good, sounds silly but it works!

Thanks Grease, i'm still looking through online quotes, and trying to secure insurance. All is looking good but waiting on the sale of my car before signing on any dotted line for a new car!

I will be wanting an "O" soon enough! Can't wait to have one full time!
