Bright and early on Sunday morning at 9am we met up at Coleshill. This was the easiest place to meet since everyone was coming from north, west and east.
We set off from Coleshill around 9.30am and headed for J10 of the M40 where Micky was meeting us at 10am.
As per usual... we were 25minutes late... this wasn't so bad though. After a quick rest stop and Dave, Bex and Jack getting something to eat we set back off for Silverstone.
On the way we got stuck about 2miles from the track in a slow crawling traffic jam. It didn't take too long to get to the track car parks once we had got near the circuit.
On the way into the car parks, there was a huge line of cars waiting to be parked infront of us which spanned about 300yrds across the field to where there was empty spots. Due to this reason we made our own little car park near the entrance where the parking stewards parked. As soon as we did it quite a few others did also, so there was no way they were going to move us...

On the way into the track I took a few pics of the nice cars I spotted

Not much left of those tyres... ouch £££

I did like these discs

Parked right infront of the ticket gate was this... well customized... erm...

On the way to our favourite location we just missed two Forumla 2.0 go off the track in a cloud of dust which made us all *sigh* that we had missed it.

After the southern lot finally joined us after about 45minutes of already being there nearly all of us were in a frenzy to get that "one all important shot".

This is the best that it got unfortunatley

You wish Morris

Since you took one of me... i'll return the favour

After this we all sat down and had a picnic together on a grassy bit... this was really nice as the sun was out and it was nice and warm.

After the food we moved onto another corner of the track that is a good picture taking position

First of all the Meganes went around

Followed by the Clio Cups

After enjoying the racing we decided to take a trip to the Fair and Display area.
On the way we got side tracked by some Mini Renaults... they call them Twingos. I know what i'd call them

On the way we came back across some of the group that had ventured off a little earlier on

The girls showing us some back out action

It had finally come to the end of the day and everywhere was closing up so it was time to start making our way back to the cars. On the way the kids had an icecream and we were presented with the sight of this bad boy.
I'm sure the bloke driving it is famous in F1 or Mclaren... i've seen his face on TV.

Bye bye to Adam, Jenna & Co and also Cameron? and Lana in the Focus

After getting back to the cars and having road rage getting out of the field... which took about 40minutes. We went to the local pub in Silverstone where we had a nice drink, a good meal and also sat down for an hour of Top Gear which was being displayed on a 50inch LCD TV outside

The girls in a shot including Claire, Becky, Sarah and Tyler

Then the lads including Morris, Kenny, Dave, Scott, Chris and Jack infront.

It was a brilliant end to a great day. Thank you for all who made the effort to travel and convoy up or down to the show.
I can't wait until Ford Fair in a few weeks time... Comments welcome
