Yes I think that's true for any insurance that if you have any break in your insurance cover then you lose any NCB built up.

I had to wait for AGESSSS the other day at a main road traffic lights... I got to the front and had to wait as there was a red light... about 15 seconds after I stopped dead on the thick white line I had a big moped style thingie come down the outside of me and pull 45 degrees infront of me so that I would have to wait for him... he didn't put his hand up or anything.

As the lights went amber I fired the turbo up and as they went green I unleashed all the had to give cutting the biker off at the other side of the lights. There was traffic due to someone turning and we all had to stop. I can tell you that the biker give a fair few hand jestures as he poodled past.

I seriously wouldn't have minded if he had to stayed this side of the white line and on the outside of me... but with his manouver to block me off it just wound me up.

The moral of this story is... try not to p!ss me off when i'm in the as I have 4 wheels and lots of airbags... you have 2 wheels and a lampost or brick wall to stop you.

what's the script these days for getting a full bike licence, is there a test for below 125 and another for above ? how does one go about it.

cbt test is a 1 day test it costs £100 and it lasts for 2 years and its a guaranteed pass.you can drive up to 125cc anythink over u will havet to have a full bike licence

I haven't done a CBT but i have the little 122 on the back of my license which according to the little booklet means I've passed a CBT

Oh well

i had to do a CBT test when i had my moped... (only for commuting perposes i hated every min of it and didnt ride it round all the time like a chav)

it was the easiest thing ive ever done they pretty much check you have the balance to stay on a bike and can control it! thats it

well i picked my bike up yesturday was on it for 30mins and nearly killed myself and the engine management light came on all fixed now tho
