Small selection of the 1000 pics i took at ford fair
I couldn't belive it. The northen group got to the services early. I arrived at 7:50 and they were all stood around chatting
Few from one of the early track sessions
Some were making good use of their track time
The stand that Nick02 was on. You were right when you said you stand out and think you had one of the best spots in the show. It was really good meeting up with you again and hope you had a safe journy home
The Tickford stand had some nice metal.
And for Dave
Millers oil nobel & ford gt
Keeping an eye on the show.
Love the paint scheme
Must resist modding my car.
Different but works very well
Not your usual track car but then again this is ford fair lol
Few of our stand
Escort in the queue for the 0-60
Looking a bit nervous
But you didn't stall
Mark on his way to a very respectable 8.19. Very good for your first time.
Daves MiTo was getting alot of comments throught the day.
The newquay guys heading off. Hopefully we'll see you tomorrow.
Back out on the track
Getting very confident on track. Really going for it and still kind enough to wave.
This was soon pulling off the track with what sounded like a gearbox with the gears just flying around the case. Can imagine the warranty claim already
Going
Going
Gone
Was briliant watching these guys go round
And for another wonder to the far side of the track.
The honda lost it on the exit causing the focus to lift off and into a spin. He came so close to hitting the barriers. Deffinantly a brown trowser moment
After saying bye to Kev me and Dave were the last two on the stand.
I had a brilliant day and thanks to everyone that came along. This was our biggest stand we have had so far and the club just keeps getting bigger. The 0-60 was as nerve racking as usual. Not as bad as Kev though who got interviewed just before his run lol. I got a 6.95 which isn't too bad as it's the first time i have really launched the car.
are you posting the one up of the convoy on the way down? thanks for the warm welcome from everyone as it was my first meet!! dont think i can do the drive to often (vote for more northern meets ), was dead when i got home however was well worth it. thanks again Paul

yeh bit of a hike from the real north..... now I live in the deep south between Manchester and Liverpool I still find a trip to and from Silverstone with an early start is a road too far so try to stop somewhere local the nite before or the night after or both if I can wangle the time..... cost me a bit more but makes it into a mini hol
I am heading up your way this comong weekend to my dads in Chester-le-Street and spending Saturday & Sunday motorbiking round the North

yeh I stayed at Hamilton on the Sat nite it was not that restfull as the noise went on most of the night and even with earplugs sleep was not so easy....I guess it was failry likely the place would look trashed by Sunday. They only had 2 portaloos for the whole gig so I guess they would have been hammered by Sun too!
You never know i may spot you on Sat I will be heading from Houghton-le-spring to Stannington where we are meeting up then heading off to Holy Island among other spots dong about 150mile round trip then on Sun its from Houghton-le-spring towards A69 and off up Keilder way and over to Grenta before heading back south down the westside

Great pictures Micky... We had a wonderful day there and I'm glad I got to meet you guys again. We did eventually get back home sound and safe... Cheers, Nick
Cracking pics as normal micky, deffo in the right place at the right time with some of the smoking track shots. The miTo looks mean from the front shot that you have taken.
I was sunburned too Micky even tho I had three strengths of suncream packed in the car ready for Newquay. Oh well prepared me for the burns in Newquay lol.
