Bought some paint cleaner today (megiuars) and after polishing and waxing the area feels really smooth
But to get rid of the swirls do I need to keep working the paint cleaner in or apply it multiple times? Just it says not to let it dry...
Never really tried to get rid of the swirls before now

Also I have loads of stone chips on my bonnet whats the best way to get the polish out of them so they don't show up as white??

Come on I know theres plenty of you that spends hours on your cars

Never used AG paint cleaner before mate so I'm not familiar with it I'm afraid.
People say it isn't impossible to remove swirls by hand but I believe if you want to keep your arm then it is. You're best off getting a machine polisher and then using either Meguires Swirl remover or Dodo Juice Lime Prime. Don't just jump straight in though, there are several guides over the internet on how to do it properly, just search google.

As for getting rid of polish in places like that, I use a soft detailing brush whilst washing. Just work it around the areas that have polish in, not too fast, not to slow, a good steady pace

i use colormagic on my car, obviosly the black stuff as my st is black, its really good for covering up the stone chips.

i t-cut my car at first then polished and waxed it, it came up like a mirror, was really good finish, now i just wash polish and wax,

machine polishing gives good results as long as you know what your doing!

holding it on can reck ur paint, as heat dispereses differently through metal and plastic, so you could damage the paint, burn it etc.

ive used all 3 steps of the meg's products before really gd IMO.

the finish on your car comes up alot better/smother if you clay bar your car before you do the three stage polishing.

The paint feels much smoother after using paint cleaner
I don't think I shall worry about the swirls for now

Yup, also stops you inflicting any more damage! Even the newest of cars can be covered in little bits of debris that are hard to remove by washing.
