well you too finished now? ive got a typhoon, i love it, leigh you have a 57i you like that! end of.

as for all the slagging jacks doing, he clearly say's IMO (in my opinion)

meaning he might like the 57i but i hate the typhoon.

everyone's different!

oh yes jack, straight off the cliff , he is the one on the forum who gives everyone technical advice (without giving them abuse), something ur trying to do and failing miserably at.

ur frying my head. only if the forum could see what ur like at work.

i gave my opinion being an st owner myself and trying out two different filters.

i just dont see a logical reason for having the typhoon, if it can damage then why???

anyway JACK, is the typhoon not just the same as the 57i but with some stupid ass long blue pipe on it to make it tickle the ground as you drive?

oh and andy, i think youve had enough fudge cake......especially since your off work

1. I am at work.
2. Have your 'banter' on msn or something because everyone is getting the little yellow light bulb every two seconds.
3. I will ignore you.
4. You're a broken record with the excessive criticism

The 57i (bang for buck) is really very good and I doubt the differences between that and the typhoon would be that much noticable TBH.

I'm sure some mags would have done tests, I can't be arsed to research.

Now, I'm not saying the Typhoon is bad (It is a bit dear mind for what it is) but what is bad is the position people mount the intake pipe.

Common sense tells you not to mount to the LH front lower on a right hand drive car because the puddles are up against the kerb.

If it was mounted on/behind the upper grille on the right hand side that would be much safer.

I have heard alot of stories of people bending their engines with this fitted.

The 2.9i Sierra had the same design floor for RHD cars, it sucked it's air from a little grille mounted in the LH front wheel arch.

Lots of people killed their XR4x4s going through water in these in the day.
