In this case what makes it even more ridiculous for me is the fact that it was done by someone who has a nice car themselves, yet they're not bothered about damaging it?

It may not have been that car. Say that car left just after you went in. Another black car tries to park but hits your car & instead of leaving a note drives off. With no cctv evidence you'll never know

it's going to be one of those cases when i'll never know. It's a body shop job as there is a nice dent in the door.

Did you have any trouble like this with the fez?? I know the focus is a fair bit wider & so uses more of the parking bay

one of the reasons I like the door strip on the ST's, any door bangers and only the strip to hit, whereas new Fiesta doesn't have one, imagine paying a load of money for a new fez and somebody dings your door in a car park first day !

i wouldnt think twice about parking next to something like a skyline as you would think they would be carful with it! hope its not too hard to sort out and is only a surface scratch and dent!

maybe you could pick up a new door cheaper than the cost of the bodyshop?
