Hey everyone, im new here.

just wanting some advice on stripes.

Im from australia so my Fiesta is an XR4.

I looking at putting stripes on my silver fiesta xr4.

Should I have stripes on silver xr4?

or should i put on side stripes?

or should i put both over the top and side stripes.


Im looking at getting the ST500 side stripe which says "FORD"

not sure if i should finish it off with over the top stripes.


the next thing is what colour!

matt black or metallic grey is my current options.

not sure which would look better anyone that can help me it would ber very much appreciated.


also im planning on getting them from DMB graphics. Are they good quality???


My Silver ST/XR4 currently only has ford OEM blue over the top stripes. they are fading and are bad condition due to previous owner.


Im not looking at getting blue ones and believe Matt (non shiny) Black or Metallic grey is the way to go.

DMB graphics have both colours.

that last picture is that metallic grey???

From memory it was more of a flat grey but lighter than the ones Kev had.

I had the oval style ford logo on my side stripes


Pink have you got a pic of one with the ford gt style side stripe?

You can get them from dmb graphics. I'm pretty sure Dave will post to oz for a little extra.

Satchmoo (aka PC Diff lol) had them on his silver ST

yeah those ford st500 side stripes is what im getting.

its just colours im deciding on.

i think metalic grey is what im heading towards cos i feel kevs is a bit too close to black and the grey is a bit light for my liking.

so i assume metallic grey will be in between anthrecite and flat grey

im about to take my stripes off!

i think ill keep them.

If you scroll up to Pinkrinses post, that is the car. As i have said they are metalic Anthrecite, being metalic they look lighter in sunshine, also looking at pics doesn't justify what they really look like as it depends on the camera.

have decided to go plain naked silver.

after taking the stripes off myself i feel i prefer the silver with no stripes, taking it off was hell by the way soo annoying!!! sore fingers sore feet sore arms gggaaarrrrrhhhhh

i have it lowered on eibachs so it looks like the st185

reason i decided to take stripes off and not put new ones on,

they had stone chips and sun damage on the stripes due to previous owner, i have not put on replacement stripes because it is expensive to get it put on professionally and i dont want to attempt it myself.


very happy with the result after good wash and wax.

naked silver is the way to go

now i dont have to worry about keeping stripes maintained
