Hi Guys just noticed that there is a bit of fluid or something on my drive where my car is parked, I had the tracking checked and adjusted the other day also had 2 new tyres. Looked underneath and there is a bit of pink fluid coming from the left hand side of the engine at the bottom, there is a black cover there as well think the timing belt and stuff are in there ?? me being a woman who knows lol, wiped it clean and my hubby is taking it to ford in the morning for them to have a look, dosent seem to be leaking now but there was definately something there !! maybe it only leaks when you drive it ??? I know the power steering is a problem for these cars anybody think that this is the problem ??? surely there should be something in that black cover but it seems dry ??? any ideas anyone

If its the coming from behind the cover the only thing i can think of is the water pump leaking, its a timing chain on this engine and not a belt, mine was in not long ago for a leaking power steering pipe, it had come off completely from the pump, is it oily or watery if you know what i mean ?.

The anti freeze will leave a greasy stain, has the expansion tank emptied any or the power steering tank.

mmmmm the power steering is min and the coolant is a bit low as well, just wondering why there isnt anymore there must be a slight leak, you reckon its anything to do with the tracking I have had adjusted.

all i'll say is i was on a bend doing about ... well going fast ... when bang, my steering became really difficult. it was my powersteering, a hose had come off and needed replacing, was very scared at time! anyway i had a fluid trail behind me and on drive. perhaps just go get it checked out in case?!?!
