Right update time:

My car's engine light is off and has been for a while so I really hope it STAYS off now!
The ECU must have got used to all the mods?

The Power is excellent! 199

Confused though. The light was off, on, off, on, off, on, now off for good hopefully!

good to hear it's off finally. Could be that your car is hovering around the correct emissions level and due to the poor st cat placement makes it go on and off.

ps. Mines just come on today

I changed O2 sensors. map sensors, had a remap. The P0172 error comes back all the time. According to my freeze frame data , it happens at roughly 780rpm, so it could be the Ford anti stall causing it when the car hunts a bit at idle due to the fast road cams. I give up, just driving it like that.

This link might help you with some other possible solutions Drifter?

Thanks , but I can resite that page off by heart by now. There are about 5 - 6 of us with the same problem, cold start is difficult with a very bad and lumpy idle, and the P0172 - Too Ricjh error. Maybe it's the quality of our fuel stuffing up the sensors.

DAMMIT! I SPOKE TOO SOON!

My Engine light had been off for AGES but it's back on again now.

Yeah Drifter I have the same problem mate. Our cars are running too fast for the stupid computer to keep up

Nothing wrong with the sensors, runs fine. Just shows a light now and again.

I've spent WAY TOO much money on my to cut my losses and quit now. I'm going to save and just get it SC'd because this light is p!ssing me off and I want the fun factor back...

Jam-sport want my car during the week to find the problem out but I can't because I need it for work and live an hour away from their unit.
I think I'll just have to put up with it till Jan/Feb when I go back to get the Diff...
Jamie moved my sensor as far away from the exhaust as he could stretch it and the light stayed off for longer. I thought it might be a heat problem but they don't sense heat they sense oxygen?
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrgh
