right ok so after months of talking and deliberating what rs im gonna get, this week i had the worst news that kicked me into touch, OVERTIME at work was being stopped to cut costs across the board, i was basically doubleing my wage and then some every month and would easily be available to afford an rs but on a basic wage for the unforseeable future i cannot risk not being able to afford it and being skint every month, i also wnt to go college and maybe do civil engineering and get a better higher paid job in the future. so ive decided to get a focus st!!!! ive seen an orange one in ashton under lyne ford dealers on 08 plate with mp3 connection and bluetooth, key free system, facelift model st2 at 16,931 i think, they offered 8,500 for my fezza so im thinkin of getting it, and having a test drive on satdi, its not got rear parking sensors and i want them but they sad they cn do em for 200 quid shud i try n get them for free??? its got just under 15k on clock and focus stoc sticker in back window so i know its been driven enthusiastically but they wouldof looked after it i hope lol, sowhat you people think, any thoughts or suggestions and is that a gd price>?? still has ford warranty n tht lot

However, just as well you heard about the overtime situation before you'd committed.

Personnaly I wouldn't want to buy something based on an uncertain wage so maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

Focus ST sounds like a good compromise... personally I wouldn't buy one as they just drink too much fuel for what they do but if I was going to get one, I wouldn't want to pay that much for a 2nd hand one...

Not sure on the going rate but maybe just supercharge the ST or get a Focus ST for less money?
