what are your opinions???

you dont need to oil it either.

made of stainless steel cleaning is easy with water .

I had one of the Powertec ones for a while, though it was originally bought for a zetec s. It seemed good enough to me but doesn't justify the price over k&n IMO.

Possibly looks smarter though...

you dont need to oil it either just clean with watercos its stainless steal.


it isnt much more than K & N

That is true...

If you really like it and not having to oil it is a big bonus for you, then go for it. It does the same job and it sounds alright too.

I doubt you'll get many responses as most have gone for K&N option, maybe check youtube for some reviews

My throttle body was spotless after approx one year on the K&N, cleaned it and re-oiled so hopefully next year will be the same. Filter was dirty so doing exactly what it should. I would also advise use the proper KN Re-Charge kit.

i done mine 2 weeks ago throttle body was also spotless and the re-charge kit is very good

While we're on the subject of throttle bodies, how the heck do you get the clips of the original hoses?

I tried earlier and pinched my finger quite badly so gave up

push them together, might need some sort of large Pincers/Plyers, they should then unclip, same for putting them back, very hard to do. Replace them with Jubilee's ?

did your powertec kit include a powertec sticker???

because mine didnt and it is meant to have one

im fussy i want my sticker!
