Seen alot of people have sprayed their grills, re defusers and fog light surrounds in black. Subtle MOD but very effective. Gonna have a go at this.

Are all the grey pieces easy to remove and re fit after spraying? Was gonna try and pull them off today but got distracted sorting out my girlfriends crappy 206.

I was just gonna use a can of halfords satin black, hopefully that will do the job.

Hi mate, all bits are easy to get off and easy to put back on. You will need Halfords white primer and then Gloss black spray paint looks much better than the satin! Then get some Halfords clear lacquer which puts a nice shine on them! We have a thread somewhere Ill find it for you...

its definately a nice mod, but you might need a lot more spray than you think, and you need to do it properly otherwise it'll peel ideally hang up in an (empty ) garage on a still day. get some plastic primer too, and a tin of laquer too. seeals the paint well and with 1 or 2 coats doesnt go too shiny!

p.s. remember the plastic mesh on the st is quite deep so you'll need to spray from all angles

Update.

Got home and quickly took all my plastic bits and bobs off. Roughed up the surfaces with some medium grit wet dry paper and applied two coats primer then one coat of gloss black. Need to touch up and add another coat of black tomorrow cause i ran outta paint!

Will have everything laquered and back on tomorrow. Sweet

All done now and back on the car. It was dark by the time i'd done the last coat of laquer so i have no idea how it looks on the car. Hopefully the paint job looks nice and even. Will take pics tomorrow and post them up (if they look good!).
