Well at LONG LONG last I have given in and got the car remapped. I knew it needed it especially to make the most of the powah mods she has fitted so after much dithering I settled on a Bluefin Stage 2 map tweaked to my specific mods by the guys at Superchips.

As always the car had another run on the dyno just to see if there was any change and the difference between the last dyno run she had (air temps etc.) I had also fitted a 60mm throttle body because of a theory on why my car was throwing up particular fault codes when I had already tried other solutions. Btw guys the 60mm tb does b*gger all power wise lol

So out with the old and in with the new..









Despite a 10 degree cooler temperature she still only squeaked high 162-163bhp so she was exactly the same as before. Bob uploaded the Bluefin and then got the map from Superchips emailed over and we sat, twiddled our thumbs, gossipped and waited the 20 mins for it to upload.



Then with everything crossed we went for gold and I was as chuffed as hell

She managed 170.8bhp (its 171 ok?! Wanna argue the toss over 0.2 bhp? See me afters!! lol) and 154lbft (208Nm) torque

Not only did she near as dammit get the claimed 10 bhp and 10lbft gain, the fuelling was sorted out so now she's perfect and even gets better fuel economy higher up the rev range!

why was it running rich and how did you fix that or has the 60mm helped weaken the already rich fueling and evened it out ?

The 60mm tb helped with a fault code I was always getting. It didnt help with the running rich, the remap sorted that.

To be honest I still think its 170bhp......
