Others say the kit isn't made for the normal roads. Again, I disagree because the cams don't kick in till later on therefore, fuel consumption is slightly better round town.

I was under the impression that more aggresive cams only go to worsen the fuel economy?

I think from everything i've read about the 185 kit so far, it sounds as though once you pull off the forecourt after having the upgrade you think, "s**t, i shouldn't have had this done, it's worse to drive!!" And then given an hour or two it begins to grow on you, until finally you love it :P

like a bad haircut

To be honest with you mate, you're totally correct. I don't disagee with you.

Like you said, you think s**t what have I done! But it grows on you after a couple of weeks, especially when you're keeping up with quite a few cars now.

"pops and bangs" refers to unburnt fuel combusting in the exhaust system.

i suppose in a way, but a backfire is something a little singular and intense. The fiesta ST with a cat back makes more of a rally-car styled rapid sucession of little pops as you go down the gears.

Again, get yourself on youtube.
