these have been appearing in our office last few weeks and in particular in my room, blinkin huge beasts, soon as we get rid of one or two, more appear, we don't know where from and why their still alive at this time of year. Coming to conclusion something is dead somewhere and there sneaking in. Friday we flattended several and monday morning there were at least five more attacking us, ended up taking my tennis racket zapper in to work and zapped one first thing today, didn't hit it dead centre, need to practice my Andy Murray shots more , it was up on it's feet dusting it's self down after a few mins, it wasn't up for flying though, I scooped it with the zapper and put it through window, didn't have heart to zap it again. Let's hope thats the last of them and can get on with some work.

You should be able to up the voltage of the fly zapper without too much bother to be a more statisfying result. When its a case of man versus pest, its gloves off and take no prisoners!
I still have flashbacks from the mouse issues in my last house!!

I had a real issue. I put down poisen bait by the kilo and the buggers all it all away every night. I couldn't work out how a little mouse could 1 eat some much, and 2, not die from the quanity of poison consumed. A week later, when I was cleaning the living room, I lifted the cushions on my sofa to find the little buggers were stockpiling it in my sofa ready for winter. So, plan b.... out with the traps. I caught 6 in the first night before I gave up because the constant snapping kept me awake. After about a week I think I was starting to make a real dent in the population and then nothing for ages..... had I finished them off.... "snap.... flap flap flap flap... I caught a baby one by its right fore leg. I didn't have the heart to kill it directly but knew that leaving it outside was signing its death warrent..... so I manned up and flushed him down the toilet... out of sight, out of mind

We went on holiday, but our cat had left a dead mouse in our back kitchen. When we got back the window was COVERED in flies and the mouse had flowers growing out of it. Disgusting.
One mouse can create 100's of em!

Now see we didnt have that just a very well calcified mousey corpse when the dishwasher was taken out for repairs lol It suddenly dawned on us all why the cat had been staring at the gaps between the machines lol

Ours went one better and carpeted the landing with brown feathers which I could only guess used to belong to a female blackbird but no bird... Indiana Jones brought in a live starling chick which was quite an achievment through the magnetic catflap. She was most annoyed when I took it off her lol
