Hello,

I have been looking at the following spec Red ST:

Miltex de-cat exhaust system
Big bore manifold
Cosworth cams
K&N air filter
Dreamscience Remap system (has both 180,190 and standard codes on it)

Also fitted -

AP coil overs
lexus back lights
angel eye headlamps
smoked side repeaters
All carbon look grilles and inserts (also on pumaspeed)
Affinity amp and sub connected to original head unit

43k 2005 for £5500

Only downside it has a bit of a scratch on the back which I will need to get sorted, and its a decat so will need to get a sports cat at some point.

So My question is, would you buy this (obviously if you didn't have an st and this was around your budget)?

I have seen the car the condition is ok but the scratch lets it down a little. Let me know what you guys think!

Sounds alright, low mileage, have they not got the original cat?
lexus lights would need ditching
But I don't think its a bad price, consider if you wanted to do the same mods the cost of doing them...

They haven't got the original it was all sold after the mods were added. Had someone else mention the lexus lights, whats up with them? I think he has the original lights which I can probably have.

Not many of us on here are keen on the lexus lights, but its what you like that matters, you can easily get some off ebay if you wanted to change them.

Lexus lights are alright on the right colour. It's a personal taste thing. ( they are black lexus lights)

If you can get the angel eyes changed for standard. They look cool but are usless for lighting the road.

Id have a good look at it make sure its not been hit in the rear, there is a lot of cat d and c STs out there which is not a problem if they have been repaired properly Mines a cat d but it was very light front and its been repaired properly, no problems like I say but you just need to know its history, If I bought it with the strips missing id replace or remove them,
maybe thats just me
Like Decoy says the PS 190 kit is £1800
Just check it out properly mate job done

Just did the TXT check, its showing up fine, although what is the bit at the start of the text, is this the model no? VIN***0058? although this shows 3 owners I thought he mentioned he was the second so will need to double check that

He did mention he was going to remove the stripes but was selling. The scratch is at the back though so I guess this might have been a reason however said it was gone when he got it originally.

Link to scratch

if the owner can't at least mint it for the photos, then go elsewhere, plenty more around.

The photos on pistonheads you can barley notice the scratch, however thats a pic I took of it when I went to see it.

No is my answer to this question! looks like a chavy boy racers car to me. Clearly hasnt been loved or cared for and probs ragged everywhere its been. After a short while of owning it id put money on things starting to go wrong!

Sorry for the negativity!
