dave1890 Fiesta Fan Registered: 14/07/05 Posts: 101 Loc: Northren Ireland	the side stripes are different on the drivers side ( badge is at the front) to the passger side ( badge at the rear) i have had my car for 2 months now and its the first time i have noticed this _________________________ i am not saying your wrong but your not right

I even asked the dealer why, expecting some cock and bull story to cover the fact that they f*cked up, but he said thats the way the are. Never could understand why _________________________

They only have to design and manufacture one design, with the ST logo located on the far right hand side of the stripe. Naturally, the St logo ends up on different ends of the car depending on which side it's stuck on, driver or passenger. would have been nice to have some consistency, but that would mean ford would have to produce 2 designs. blueisthecolour Fiesta Fan Registered: 09/08/05 Posts: 245 Loc: Leicester	Definately designed that way, there are 2 designs, a left & right side stripe, if you look at the passenger side the ST is in the small part to the rear of the passenger door,& the drivers side the ST is on the long part of the stripe. The reason for this is: whichever side of the car you are looking at the ST will always be located too the right hand side at the furthest end of the stripe, thus being consistant. Never bothered me(when I had stripes) & no one noticed.

Negligible cost in material but more part numbers to stock. Not to mention they have to have different part numbers for different coloured stripes. There are at least 2 (blue and white) for sure, maybe more. Or maybe they used the extra money to design and make the top stripes in each colour.
