Hey Guys

I just got myself a 2007 Fiesta ST. It was going great, but all of a sudden the ABS light came on. I dont know if it will go into some sort of limp mode, but it all of a sudden got a LOT slower. It still revs all the way to the red, the petrol consumption is the same, its just a lot slower.
Can the car go into limp mode, and will the ABS light being on affect the performance at all ???

The car only has a Branch, Freeflow and a chip. The people at ford said that its my Reluctor Ring that is cracked ??
Also, they said the throttle is only opening 45%
I dont know what is going on ?????

The reluctor ring sits on the end of the cv joint and has a lot of teeth on it, it was common on rover cars to replace these as they used to crack in half due to corrosion of the cv joint, a new cv joint should cure your abs problem, dont know if its linked to your loss of power, but ford should be able to tell you.

hi all

On the back of this my car has just been skidding and spinning in the snow on my street and the ABS light came on. Anyone reckon this will go off on its own or is it a costly repair heading my way?

Cheers
