this is a fiesta st im looking at buying but not sure on the color! but the car is very good! and a very good price!!

I like the colour. Is it a replia st? Didn't think it has been made in that colour anywhere. Nice to see one with the european 16" alloys on.

no its an st i didnt know they made it in that color either! i havent seen it yet i will have to go some 500 kms to buy it! the guy is sending me the paper work tomorrow so i will confirm it then, also do you think the wheels are only 16"??

there not uk ST wheels and look much smaller with a huge gap under the arches.

Yeah. European st's come with 16's as standard. 17's were optional extras.

i dont like it tbh but each to there own as above i would guess the wheels are 16s as that gap does look bigger than usual

Hum.. I still think there's something not quite right about that..

By that I mean that's a standard Fiesta colour not a known ST colour (incl ones like Tonic etc).. I mean we *could* be wrong but make extra sure you check there hasnt been an engine conversion etc. Do you guys have checks on the registration plate or VIN number like we can do here?

yeah the cheacks oout here are a standard procedure as just ot change the car in to my name it is going to cost around 600 euro!
it is not possible to do an engine change out here, there are too many laws against it.

alos if its not an st but a st kit would it still have the st logo on the seats and the steering wheel??

You can change the seats, steering wheel quite easily. I had st seats in my zs and a st steering wheel ready to go in till i sold the car.

How much for changing the car to your name

prob not. just make sure it has the engine. 2ltr Duratech, not 1.6ltr Zetec as I'm getting a funny feeling about this car..

Oh well just as long as you do the usual/sensible checks. Oh its really quite easy to make an ST replica with skirts, spoiler, front & rear bumpers, seats & steering wheel.. but that has an ST tailpipe too.. but then its towing eye is grey (but so is mine but then I just decided to paint it that colour)

haha well wel shall se tomorrow he is emailing me the full history and all the cars documents so i will able to do a full check on it!

i also have a suspision as the car is a little bit too cheap as well, but if the paper work checks out ill get a dgt cheack ( similer to a dvla check thing) done on the car!

but i really do like it, first thing to be done will be change those wheels and lowered!

STs were available in all colours for some markets. Limited colours was mainly for the UK. Wheels are the standard 16". All seems fine, Colour looks quite nice actually!

Limited to White, Silver , Red,Black and PB in SA. A few Sea grey and Tonic ones around.
