Does that mean you had them specially made up then?

Chris, the mudlfaps are just the normal sparco ones you find in any Halfords. The TeamRS stickers were from Torquesteer.co.uk

Oh, i havn't got the front mud flaps on yet, but they're sitting in my boot, waiting for when I have loads of time.

Oh wow, they do look sweet, thanks for that pic st_owner100. Do you find they do a good job on protecting the paint? It looks from the pic that you only have them fitted to the back. Did you not bother with the front or have you just not gotten around that yet?

I'm seriously considering some too now...

OR go onto www.ask.co.uk or .com and type in sparco mud flaps. There are loads of companies out there that deal with them and the colour choice varies from company to company....

I havn't got any time to fit the front ones at the moment. they're gonna be a lot more difficult than the rears. Since i've only got them on the back, they not really serving any purpose other than looking cool. But i'm sure the fronts will do some protecting, as the front of the sideskirts often get splattered with muck over time.

What I'm worried about is stone chips and protection against salt in the winter. I think I'd probably fit mine only with front mudflaps to protect the long and exposed side sills from the driving wheels. Thanks for the link Michelle. At 20$ for the pair it's note really expensive for the protection they provide.

Looks like you can buy directly from Sparco at http://www.sparco.it - they have an english language website also. if you can't find by searching "mudflaps" the italian word is "paraspruzzi". The search engine might only work in italian even though the resultant page is in english. Price is Euro 12.50 (for the pair I think).

I just saw the post regarding the dodgy resurfacing.
Normally they do a proper good surface here, but 1 day they decided to re-surface a long country road with the layer of tar and pile on the loose chippings. I went down the road and all I could hear was the chippings hitting the car; especially when a lorry flew past!
When I inspected the car I didnt really have any chips but more of little blobs of tar in places.
Went to halfords to get bug and tar remover and this did the trick. (lucky it did cause I was well pissed off I was hell bent on sending a bill to the council)

U wana see the state of our ST right now! its a mare! Dont know if u have noticed but by the bk wheels there is like a little tray where the lining for the wheel arch meets the bumper its full of gravel! Filled to the brim of the damn stuff!

Next time i see the workmen resurfacing im def gona get the bosses number as I have so many scuffs from that its untrue!

Not a happy bunny! Another reason to get back to UK! Least they do it properly even if it takes them 3 times a long to complete!!!! LOL!

Im a bit p*ss*d off with German roads.... their roadworks! When they are resurfacing the road they put the tar down a then tip a whole wagon load of fine gravel over it then leave it! Regardless to say u drive down the road and all u hear is the gravel hitting ur car! Its so annoying! Especially as every exit road from my house has had this done so no way of avoiding it!

Dont think Auto Glym has got any hope of getting all the crap off my car right now!

Michelle

Just go really slow, bare with the and when the roads are all sorted buy some AutoGlym Tar Remover, its brilliant and will get ur car looking like new again... also best to polish over this after!!!

Nothing to worry about, they do the same road laying over here also, they did the road at the end of mine only a few months back.
