right then, its got to that point in my cars life where it needs an induction kit, but im not overly clued up on this mod, so what will i gain from it and what one do i want?? i know u all have your own opinions on em so lets hear them

K+N is one of the most popular, im sure i read somewhere it will give about an extra 6bhp roughly (maybe slightly more or less) either way it certainly helps the car breath a lot better.

There Are A lot ogf them I Have A K&N induction work well but cant really hear mine over the Exhaust lol But ive herd the sound nice

There are several companies out there that make good ones, bad ones and brilliant ones. The K&N is a good mid range induction kit, especially if you take the time to run a cold air ram to the grill at the front. Also K&N have fabricated a nice holder which seats it nicely in the engine bay.

Graham Goodes up in my neck of the woods make a kit which is little shy of 300 squid...is it worth it? probably not in my opinion because gains of 5 - 10bhp are possible if you play with your exhaust system also. The best 'starter' mod combo out there in my opinion is the Milltek Flexi pipe and the K&N if you are on a bit of a budget but still want good gains.

They didn't have it when I bought my filter or I would have got it as well

57i is my recomendation.. Like you i'm not clued up on much and thought loads about getting a K&N, first time I put my foot down it sounded loud but on the 1 hour journey back home it was ace. You can drive it so you cant hear it at all.

As I said in a previous posts, people often say to me 'you should get an induction kit' when I have had it fitted for ages.

Cheapest when I looked was STX styling but I haven't looked lately. They missed out a cold air feed (should have 2) so I rang them and they first classed it to me.
