i fitted kaylan rally flaps to my blue fez st from performance creations i think i paid 75, torqesteers are the same flaps and can be bought off ebay too directly, you have to take each wheel off individually and its a pain in the arse lol

I know its not a good diagram lol its just a quite knock up in paint but I hope it gives you a idea what I am on about, there used alot to fix interor panels etc.

These came with my mud flap kit from Team Torquesteer but they are rubbish as they break easily, and don't really hold things together very well so I replaced them with stainless steel machine bolts and nylon locking nuts which did the job much better, just made things a bit more awkward fitting the flaps as I had to take the inner wings plastic cover off, screw everything together and then manipulate the plastic bit back on.

I cant quite visualise the fixings you are using, presumably the nut and bolt hold the mud flap on but what holds the screw to the car? Is there somekind of layer that catches the screw head or something?

The mud flaps on the front of the car are where you use these clips to fasten the mud flap to the plastic inner arch.

You have to drill a hole into the plastic inner arch and then push the plastic clips through the holes already in the flaps, and then into the plastic inner wing which they are meant to grip too. But they are not very secure... So I used the stainless steel machine screws some large washers on both sides so the heads of the machine screw and nut don't pull through the plastic inner wing or mud flap..Much more secure...

The rear Mud flaps are different again, they come with a bracket you need to bend to shape, and nuts and bolts which work a treat. I put some thread lock on the nuts to make sure they didn't work loose..

Hope you get what I mean.

bit of double sided velcro or sticky pads on the lower front flap helps to keep it secure and flush.

Yo I know this is an old post but I was wondering how you made the homemade fixings to fit them?

mine came with a specific kit, fronts are only screws and spacers into the arch and rear is a bracket with nuts bolts
