I'm looking to get a set of axle spacers but i'm unsure of which size to go for and where to get them from. If i go for the 12.5mm spacers am i going to need any arch work i'm currently running standard wheels and suspension. I had a look at pumaspeeds website and they are quoting about £40 delivered which i think is a bit on the dear side, Are they available from ford as i get trade discount from the local dealer and does any know the ford part no of them.

Hi Mate,

12.5 are fine, even the 20 mm i have 12.5 on mine and i have standard wheels but lowered suspension and not an ounce of rubbing even with a full car!!!! I got mine from Fords and it is cheaper than buying them from elsewhere, you will need however 8 x longer stainless bolts, about 50p each and 4 small nut and bolts for the dust spacer as you need to drill off the original ones!!! Takes roughly an hour to do both if your good with a spanner!! Remember to put the ABS sensor one before putting back on car as you can't put them on after you installed hub !!
Hope that helps.

I don't think you need the longer bolts

I saw there was a 'how to' but did they say in the 'how to' that they need to be cut slightly?

...but yeah I got 12.5mm and it looks and handles soooooooo much better!

Mine were cut. Jam-Sport cut/modify all the one's they fit slightly so the spacers don't interfere with the back breaks!

Do they slightly scrape out the middle where the abs sensor goes so you don't have to take the complete hub off to change it not that you need to do this every year... I would personnally buy and put in larger bolts as you are adding on 12.5mm more stress on the bolts and for £4 is it worth it??

That's it! They just do it so it doesn't interfere with the ABS sensor but if it ain't broke don't fix it Dan. But I just thought it was good to mention...
