I decided I was too old for OTT stripes but happy with the way mines looks now, elegant and stylish but not too chavvy. Also i think side stripes are essential! I know some people like the Naked look but sides stripes for me.

Thats looks awesome Scotty. Kaxe your from the Northampton area? I think ive seen you about, how long have you had the U Stripe on as i thought originally it was an ST500, looked low and rather stealth...
Going to remove the stripes tomorrow from my white ST. I have a worry that the paint underneath will be fresh white whereas the rest of the car might have faded. Has anyone else discovered this when removing the stripes?
I noticed this a little on my performance blue st when i removed the stripes. The stripes had been on there for over 4 years though but then after a good polish you can no longer tell that the stripes were ever there. You should have no problems at all mate.
Ah thats good to hear, i plan to spend a while doing this to make sure i get it right. Was fearing i'd have to use up my fading supply of auto gylm products (ex gfs mum worked for them.)
You've probably seen me at JamSport mate or going to and from it Thanks yeah it is kinda stealthy. Yeah I get mistaken for an ST500 a lot I've had my U stripe for a year now but mine is lower down the bonnet than most
