Hi, ive had my st a few weeks now, which once ive cleaned it I’ll get some pics on here, but there a couple of things that I want to check don’t know ifs it’s a fault or just the character of the car, it’s a 07 plate with 30k miles. One issue is when I change down from 4th or 5th to 3rd gear its sometime needs a bit of a shuv in, changing up from 2nd to 3rd is really smooth, it don’t make no noise or anything!!.
The other thing is when its cold 5-10min journeys when I pull the clutch in the revs go to 1100 for a second then back down to 900mm and just seen a bit irregular

Sometimes I have to give it a bit of a shove to get into gear but it's not very often and it's usually going into first gear.

I have problems with reverse gear. Sometimes just doesn't want to go in! I think its just the car. But like u I have only had mine for 4 weeks so I'm no expert

I've noticed the revs issue on mine. When I reverse out of my parking space at work at 5pm after the car has been there all day, the revs fluctuate between 800-1500. A couple of minutes running and it is fine.

All sounds the norm to me Mark

Mine is occasionally sticky from first to second.
As for the idle, I believe every one is the same.....(From what I was told)

Tip to stop crunching it into reverse is to put it in a forward gear e.g 3rd and then reverse and it wont crunch.
